HOW IT WORKS: Our wooden diffuser lids have been developed using a unique type of wood which we have spent months testing extensively, to ensure the fragrances smell strong, diffuse quickly and last long. Our wooden lids soak up the fragrance from the glass bottles and to become saturated. The scent can then slowly evaporate from the lids and perfume the surrounding air.

Just like traditional reed diffusers, the evaporation process is affected by heat and movement. Therefore the car diffusers work best in warm conditions with both heat from the sun, and from your car. As you drive your car the diffuser will move gently - releasing more aroma. 

The diffusers contain approximately 10ml of oil and are not designed to be overpowering. The scents have been made up to a maximum concentration in accordance with IFRA regulations. All our diffusers are CLP compliant. 

We've recorded a handy instructional video to ensure all of our customers have their Drift Mist diffusers working and smelling perfectly.

If the scent diminishes over time, repeat step 5 to allow more fragrance to soak into the wooden lid.

PLEASE NOTE: Our leak-proof design allows you to safely invert your diffusers as desired, to ensure long-lasting, strong smelling fragrance. However, we would recommend this no more than 3 x times a week. If the lid and laces are completely saturated, excess fragrance then has the potential to (slowly) leak through the wood and laces when inverted. Once the wooden lids are completely saturated, further inverting is not advised and is not necessary until the fragrance has evaporated. Excess inverting will also deplete the fragrance at a much faster rate than normal.

Avoid touching the lids directly when inverting the bottles. If you end up with fragrance oils on your hands - do not touch any surfaces until you have washed your hands thoroughly. Contact with plastic and/or textiles can can cause damage.

My first car was a 2008 Mark 5 VW Golf. With 100,000 miles on the clock, it wasn’t anything special, but to me it symbolised freedom and meant I could enjoy summer road trips, late night drives and making memories with friends. Like every car enthusiast I would spend hours waxing, modifying and tuning my car to personalise it.

It got me thinking, if we can modify our exhausts to improve the sound, wrap our cars to improve their appearance and tune them to improve their performance - why settle for limited fragrance options that smell like lemon oven cleaner? Cars are to be enjoyed and experienced. Why can’t we personalise our car scents to smell like us? Because as all car people will know, they aren’t just cars – they are who we are.

Rather than waste money buying multipack air fresheners that lasted a maximum of two weeks, or buying diffusers that claimed luxury but leaked and damaged the interior of my car, I decided to create a range of luxury fragrances that would be long lasting, leak-proof and smell good enough to wear.

We designed our own leak-proof diffusers using vegan friendly ingredients. Our glass and wood packaging minimises plastic use but maximises long lasting freshness in your car. Our fragrances are made using regulated suppliers and are fully CLP compliant, to ensure they not only smell great, but are safe, and regulated. Using larger 10ml bottles we maximised the cost-benefit for our users to keep your car smelling fresh for twice as long as industry leaders. Our luxury packaging was developed from scratch because we know that the unboxing experience begins the minute you receive your diffuser.
